"At the end of the day, memories are all that matter.

Things fade away, people change...

but memories will live in forever."

Challenges:

Experience

I appreciated the inclusiveness I felt, and really becoming a family over time with all the new students and teachers.
Most memorable moment was with the pub crawl/going out; everyone knew everyone and starting doing crazy stuff together😂
I would definitely attend again, because it helped me create wonderful friendships and memories!

My study start week was just perfect! During that week you really get why we call ourselves the leisure family. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never talked to someone before that week. You wear the same T-shirt = your family. That is the thing that was most memorable and amazing to me during my study start week and I would always join again for that.

Party experience:

Experience

The study start week is from my perspective all about bonding and chatting around, due to the many parties and activities we had done together this was a total success. Also, the way the general theme had come back was a nice feature.

The most memorable was the pub crawl, in which we had to scream out our lungs in scooters like Beyonce.
I would totally go to the SSW again, I think it is in either way a memorable experience in which you will get to know so many new people. And with the leisure SSW, there is always something to laugh about.

Experience

The thing I appreciated most during the study start week was getting to know the people who were gonna be in my class. We all got along very well and it was nice to know some people already and not feel alone during the first weeks of the study.

My most memorable moment is probably the boat tour on the canal.

I would definitely attend the study start week again and I would recommend attending it to everyone. It’s a great way to meet new people, to ask questions you might already have and to get to now the city as well. It’s a lot of fun and no-one should miss it.

During the week:

Experience

I very much appreciated the togetherness during the Study Start Week! Making new friends and connections and then step into a whole new chapter together was amazing!

The most memorable moment was the ending ceremony at the city beach where my group wrote the kindest of words for each other and the school year officially took off.
For sure I would attend again in fact, it is really important to bond with your fellow students and it really gives you a great intro into the school year.

Experience

The bonding with my fellow students and the introduction to education was designed very creatively. Therefore, it was what I most appreciated about the Study Start Week.
The pub crawl was most memorable because you got involved in other groups and got to know each other very well. I met my closest friends in this week. I also loved the end ceremony where all the groups mixed up. I would definitely attend again in fact, I love meeting new people especially in an environment like this.

"Hi Everyone! My Name is Esmee Korver and I'm a second-year Leisure and Events, student.

I would like to share my Student Start Week experience with you!

The thing I appreciated the most was making new friends and creating lifetime memories with people that I now call my friends.

My most memorable moments were the Leisure Island parties where we won a prize for having the best outfit and all the activities we did which was so much fun!

I would definitely attend Study Start Week again since this was one of the best weeks of my life, it had the best atmosphere and of course, the best parties. I'm lucky to say that I made all my friends that week and will never forget this!

So if you have the opportunity to attend the SSW, I call you out to join this week! You will definitely not forget this week and you sign up for the best week of your life.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to contact the creators of this year's SSW or me!

And I hope to see you this year.

Love,

Esmee"
